As the deer pants

from Music in the Quiet Room by Leat Sabbah

/

about

As the deer pants (Ke'eyal Ta'arog in Hebrew) from Psalm 42.
The middle of the album explores theme of water; water being the only element that a human cannot live without.
The next two songs; Ke’Eyal Tarog and Let it Rain, express the deep need of water; a thirst for being filled to a point of fullness. I chose these songs for a time in the disc to ask for our needs, our deepest desires and prayers.
